The Franklin Electric 580603 magnetic-drive centrifugal pump has an 8.5 gallons per minute (GPM) output and is suitable for circulating highly corrosive solutions and suspensions, such as acid baths in an electroplating application. The HC-series pump has a continuous-duty 1/30Hp motor with magnetic coupling that drives the pump impeller and eliminates the wear and maintenance required by mechanical seals. The glass-filled polypropylene sulfide (PPS) fluid path, ceramic shaft and thrust washers, and fluoroelastomer (FKM) O-rings are corrosion resistant.
